Whether it's for vacation and business, packing for international trips can be very confusing. But don't let this stop you from enjoying your trip. If you have two minutes to spare, I will show you a few pointers to efficient travel packing.
1. Always keep important documents at hand. This includes passport, passport photos, insurance and other visa.
2. Keep cash, credit cards and debit cards in separate compartments inside your bag. So in case of loss or theft, you will not be stranded of cash.
3. Find out the luggage allowances to avoid excess fees.
4. If possible, bring only non-wrinkle clothes to save yourself from laborious ironing and re-ironing.
5. Check the climate or weather in your destination and pack your clothes accordingly.
6. Carry at least two pairs of footwear-one to match casual outfits and one for formal dinners.
7. Toiletries should be kept in waterproof pouches.
8. Identify what kind of activities you will be doing during your trip. For instance, if you will be at the beach, you'll want to bring a pair of flip lops and some swimwear.
9. Create a checklist. Base the checklist on the places you will be visiting and the activities you will be engaging in.
10. Start preparations a week prior the trip to avoid last minute jitters.
